For the last two years outcomes at Key Stage 2 have been broadly in line with national data, but fell in 2016 when the New Curriculum was assessed for the first time, leading to maths attainment and progress data below national. Writing remained strong, with attainment outcomes and progress measures above national.  For reading, maths and GPS scaled scores were below national.  Progress in maths appears is below expected, but progress in reading is more positive.
